Irvington has long been known for strong community spirit and a volunteer’s heart; a neighborhood with a healthy balance between arts appreciation and a blue-collar workmanlike determination. Perhaps that’s why ONE 10 STUDIO fits in so well with their unique blend of architecture and construction management.

Although the award winning firm has undergone a metamorphosis over time, ONE 10 STUDIO is currently celebrating their third year in the South Ritter Avenue studios where they’ve worked to create a diverse architectural portfolio with businesses and community-based organizations; homeowners and not-for-profits.

While you may recognize only some of their extensive client list, you’d certainly recognize their work. How many times have you passed by Lutherwood at 16th and Ritter this week; are you a member of Pogue’s Run Grocer; and the award-winning Brand PhotoDesign in Fishers in visible on your left as you head North on Interstate 69.

The ONE 10 STUDIO staff, made up of Irvingtonian Jeff Echols along with Clete Kunce and Patrick Kestner, prides itself on their community involvement and passion for giving back to their profession. In Irvington, they support the Irvington Development Organization and the Irvington Green Initiative. The trio also has a long history of involvement at Ball State ranging from Clete’s stint as Studio Professor to company-wide trips to Muncie to serve as guest-jurors for Design Studio presentations in the College of Architecture and Planning.

Though they’re known for creative new construction and transformations of both commercial and residential structures, ONE 10 STUDIO’s approach to the process may be even more unique. They call their goal ‘The Product of Design.’ While other firms strive to provide excellent professional architectural services, ONE 10 STUDIO prefers to take things even further.

“When people ask me what I do” says Echols, “I tell them that I build teams. Our goal is always to build the best team to deliver the best project possible. Not just great design; the product of design, a built project.”

ONE 10 STUDIO isn’t shy about bringing real estate brokers, financial advisors and engineers, in addition to their own in-house architectural and construction experts, to the table at the beginning of a project in order to ensure that their clients are armed with the best information from the start. And the process doesn’t end once the design work is complete. As a firm that offers architecture and construction services, they’ll be with you from the first sketch to the grand opening.
